Our Brilliant Friend Ferrante with Cathy Rentzenbrink and Tiziana de Rogatis

This special event celebrates the publication of best-selling Italian author Elena Ferrante’s much–anticipated new novel, The Lying Life of Adults. As readers once again prepare to visit the streets of Naples through the pages of Ferrante’s latest book, we’ll explore this enigmatic writer’s enduring appeal and the devotion she has inspired in readers all over the world.

Tiziana de Rogatis, is an Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at the University for Foreigners of Siena. She is a leading researcher of Ferrante’s work and the author of Elena Ferrante’s Key Words. She will be joined by author, bibliophile and Ferrante-fan, Cathy Rentzenbrink, whose new book Dear Reader is a paean to her favourite books and the joy of reading. Together with Dr Katrin Wehling-Giorgi who researches Ferrante’s work, these writers will discuss all things Ferrante, in what promises to be a fascinating event.
